BSA JAMBOREE - PREPARED ALREADY???

Scouting Radio were happy to see that the Boy Scouts of America National Council has created bsajamboree.org to coincide with the 2010 Centenary Jamboree in the USA.

However one of our listeners told us that the site became available prematurelyto the public for a short while until a password was placed on the site shortly after.

Scouting Radio are still hoping to get a look behind the scenes. Stay tuned for more info!

2 Sets of identical twins - 1 sea scout group!

In the UK the likelyhood of having identical twins is only 1.5% yet in one Norwich Sea Scout group they have 2 sets of identical twins in the Beaver group.

The double double (excuse the pun!) was completed by the 3rd and 4th Norwich Sea Scout group. In the photo is the Scout Leader Christopher Page with Scott and Kane Dipple , Jake and Luke Empson.

As if it wasnt confusing already remembering Scouts names!

northumberland's wide awake camp

Join Scouting Radio's Colin Walker from the Lookwide Marra 2008 camp to be held at Haumsaugh to mark the 100th Year of the 1st Official Scout Camp.

The event takes place between the 23-26th May. The camp will be open to all sections within Scouting and guiding with the youngest sections being invited as day visitors.
