Donate your old Scout Uniforms

The Boy Scouts of America and A Cleaner World are helping Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts in need by donating outgrown uniforms.
As part of the “Outfit a Scout” program, through Oct. 3, A Cleaner World is accepting outgrown and used Scout uniforms, including shirts, shorts, pants, belts, socks and other items at any of its 26 participating locations in the state. It will clean and press the uniforms, then distribute them to BSA councils for lower-income Scouts who cannot afford uniforms.
Started in 2006 by the Old North State Council, which includes much of the Triad, the program now includes the Old Hickory Council based out of Winston-Salem. For more information, call the ONSC at (336) 378-9166, the OHC at (336) 760-2900, or call Mark Founds at Trone, at (336) 812-2048.
