Police believe the complex on Heyhouses Lane, St Annes, may have been torched together with a disused house 100 yards away on Lowton Road.
The fires broke out within 10 minutes of each other.
Scout leaders today told The Gazette they were "devastated" after the blaze razed to the ground the much-loved activity hall and dormitories.
Thankfully there were no children sleeping inside as more than 30 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire just
before 4.30am on Saturday.
Philip Gibbons, treasurer of the Fylde District Scout Council, added: "It's terrible to see the headquarters like this as it is used by so many people every week. It's just a relief there was no-one inside at the time."
Hundreds of Cubs and Scouts from across Lancashire regularly use the site for weekend events.
A joint police and fire service investigation has been launched into the blaze.
