Acceler8 with Scouts in Scotland

Volunteers are preparing for biggest open day of its kind for Scouting adults in Scotland.

Acceler8 will take place on Saturday at Fordell Firs activity centre in Fife.

‘We’re excited to welcome over 400 adult volunteers from every corner of Scotland this weekend,’ said Terry O’Neill from Scottish headquarters.

‘We’ve had great support from a large variety of external organisations and are looking forward to a fun-packed, activity-full day. Everyone can brush up on their Scouting skills or learn new ones including "Bushcraft for Beavers", adventurous activities, and communications, to name but a few.’
The event marketplace and programme zones will feature a wealth of external organisations and exhibitors providing support and knowledge to help adults in Scouting.

‘Acceler8 is all about building capacity and having fun,’ continued Terry. ‘We hope to see as many of our adult volunteers there as possible.’
