Scouting Radio would like to thank all our listeners throughout the world for their continued support as we raised a glass, cut the cake and celebrated 5 years of broadcasting quality talk radio on the Scouting and Guiding Movement via the internet to every corner of the globe. 

Baden-Powell described Scouting as a Movement because it keeps moving forward, when it stops moving forward it becomes an organisation and is no longer Scouting.

 We could say the same for Scouting Radio. From its humble beginnings as a college project we have grown and grown in listeners and viewers to our 1 stop site for Scouting and Guiding news and information. This has made us an Award Winning internet radio station for Scouting.

We have covered events big and small throughout our 5 years of broadcasting, from Scouts communicating with NASA, Bus crashes, missing Scouts, the Scouting Sunrise, World Jamborees, National Jamborees and we have been even interviewed by other National state broadcasters such as RTE, Newstalk and BBC. 

However our most proud moment was being acredited by the Honorable Michael Baden-Powell who supports our station believing his grandfather would have been in favour of such a station broadcasting news and information on the Scout Movement 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have studios in Ireland, England and USA and reporters in Egypt, Malta, New Zealand, Holland, Germany and France. Were always looking for more members to join our team.

Our success is down to you the listener. Without your feedback and support, we wouldnt be still thriving. Please take this moment to share in our success.

2010 brings several large events. The Centernary of Scouting in the USA, the 100th year of the Guide Movement and we have plenty of technical upgrades happening throughout the next month.
