Simon Lang is the Programme Manager for Scouting Radio.
Simon was born in Kildare in 198 and has been involved
in Scouting since the age of 6 as a Beaver.He is a life
long Scout with two troops.
He was Scoutmaster of 3rd Kildare / 1st Celbridge for
4 years and has now taken on a district role as the
Cilldara County Scout Programme Co-ordinator for Scouting
Ireland.Simon sees himself progressing further into
the management side with Scouting Ireland in the future.
Simon holds a diploma in Sound Engineering along with
a BA in Media Production and Management from Ballyfermot
College of further education. He has been involved with
Scouting Radio since its establishment.
Apart from his role as Programming Manager for Scouting
Radio, Simon co-presents "The Communications Centre"
and "Simons Scenarios"
For Simon, Scouting Radio us a chance for him to share
what he has learnt with other Scouts worldwide.

for Scouts to learn and grow deeper in their understanding
of the Scouting method by being able to ask questions
about Scouts or Scouting skills. They can learn about
the history of Scouting or even keep up to date with
Scouting around the world"
